Dentistry is a very satisfying and fulling profession. It is important to me that I am able to provide quality dental services to families in my local communities. I take pride in having the opportunity to provide dental care and be a part of the area where I was born and raised, and where I will raise my own family.

The people who come to see me are so much more than just patients — they’re my friends, family, and neighbors. I can’t imagine anything more fulfilling than improving the lives of those I genuinely care about by restoring confidence in their smile and appearance.

My Academic Journey

I grew up in Garrettsville, having graduated from James A. Garfield High School in 2001. From there, I attended Mount Union College, a historical and picturesque liberal arts college in Alliance, OH. In addition to earning my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Minor in Math, I gained a broad base of knowledge and appreciation for the pursuit of excellence in all things. I continued on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery before completing the Advanced General Dentistry Residency program at Fort Bragg, NC.

Dentistry is exciting to me, and no two days are the same. It requires me to be agile and adapt to a variety of patients’ clinical needs. I strive to stay current on the latest materials and procedures through continuing education, allowing me and my team to bring the best quality and treatment options possible to our patients.

My affiliations with the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Akron Dental Society, and the Cordyn Palmer Dental Society allow me to expand my knowledge and integrate the most valuable clinical methods into our practice.

Outside the Office

My husband is Dr. Jeffrey Ellerhorst, a family physician in Garrettsville, OH. We have four busy boys who are involved in soccer, baseball, and wrestling. We also have a Goldendoodle who thinks he is one of the boys!

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family, watching my exuberant boys participate in many different sports and activities, quilting, and reading. I am also very active in church by helping with the Sunday school program and participating in the Chancel Bell Choir.
